Founded in 1995, the ERIC lab (Research Unit of Universities Lyon 1 and Lyon 2) develops both theoretical and applied research in the fields of data science and business intelligence. We aim to enhance the value of very large, complex databases, particularly in the fields of humanities and social sciences. More precisely, we work on:
- Data Science: machine learning, forecasting, decision, complex, textual or functional data mining, multicriteria aggregation
- Business Intelligence: data warehousing, intelligent integration of complex data, multidimensional modeling of complex objects, personalized online analytical processing (OLAP), data lakes, metadata management, data security
- Digital Humanities: management and analysis of varied data (in the big data sense), metadata, interpretability of data mining models, computer science and gender
