Data Science in Seville: Minerva and DS&BD Lab

Summary: In this exposition, Dr. David Gutiérrez Avilés will present the  leading research groups of the city of Seville: the Minerva Group at the University of Seville and the Data Science and Big Data Lab at the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville. Their main research lines will be described, including time series forecasting, bioinformatics and environment, metaheuristics, and pattern discovery.
